A good festival vendor Business Box is not about carrying everything. It is a compact, organized collection of the small tools and supplies that can keep a minor problem from turning into lost selling time.

Fast repairs

  • ☐ Duct tape or gaffer tape
  • ☐ Zip ties in more than one size
  • ☐ Scissors
  • ☐ Safety pins
  • ☐ Hook-and-loop straps or cord ties
  • ☐ Small screwdriver or multi-bit driver
  • ☐ Compact hammer or mallet
  • ☐ Small clamps

Merchandise and display fixes

  • ☐ Tagging or Dennison gun
  • ☐ Extra tagging fasteners
  • ☐ Permanent marker
  • ☐ Spare clips or hooks used in your display
  • ☐ Extra tape, fasteners, or small hardware specific to your booth

Cleanup and customer readiness

  • ☐ Hand sanitizer
  • ☐ Wipes
  • ☐ Cloth or paper towels
  • ☐ Basic first-aid items appropriate for your booth

Business-specific spares

  • ☐ Small replacement parts most likely to fail
  • ☐ Consumables you cannot easily buy during an event
  • ☐ Backup pieces for your most important display hardware
  • ☐ Anything you have had to borrow, buy, or hunt down at a previous event

Reset after every event

  • ☐ Replace anything you used
  • ☐ Restock consumables
  • ☐ Check tools for damage
  • ☐ Add any new item you wished you had during the event
  • ☐ Return the box to your normal load-out location
